A couple of days ago a friend of mine remarked that after sending his old mount to a new character he had somehow ended up with two exact copies of it: one on his old character, and one on his new one.
At the time I thought he simply MUST have been mistaken, but reports on the forums are starting to flood in about Love: Up and Down showing up for sale in mass quantities, day after day, at rock-bottom prices. It’s possible these are the ill-gotten gains from all the recent account hacking, but unfortunately the pattern seems to match more closely with that of a dupe hack.
Now, if you’re new to MMOs, you might be forgiven for thinking, “Wow! This is my chance to get one for cheap!“, however, dupe-hacks basically do to MMOs what cancer does to people. Games rarely survive, and the ones that do are usually just sickly shells of what they once were.
If the dupe-hack is real, and PWI isn’t able to stop it quickly, PWI could effectively be dead before the end of the year.

As we say goodbye to General Summer’s Sale, and hello to PWI Genesis, Gold prices have plummeted and cash-shop merchants have begun gearing up to start collecting their profits.
At some point I’m sure I’ll get around to actually trying out the new content, but priority #1 should always be investment, since it’s always more fun to play when you can afford to do anything you want.
There’s a Zen sale this weekend and General Summer’s Sale is ending, which means this is a perfect opportunity to multiply your money.
My suspicion is that potential profits will be somewhere around 25%, so if you’ve got an extra 10 million and would like to have 12.5 million instead, here’s my advice: Continue Reading
